Am 10. Februar entflohen fünfzig Kids und etliche Mitarbeiter in wärmere Gefilde – nach Spanien! Das EJW Künzelsau hatte die Jungscharen im Kirchenbezirk eingeladen und mir -Susanne- die Programmgestaltung übertragen. Mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung vom EJW, von Juropa (Kurt) und “meiner” Jungschar aus Crailsheim wurde der JS-Nachmittag eine runde Sache! Zudem bereicherte die Jazztanzgruppe des TSV Ingelfingen mit einer gelungenen Tanzeinlage.
Auf Einladung des spanischen Königs machten wir uns auf den Weg, um ihn und sein Reich zu entdecken. In kleinen Reisegruppen erforschten die Kids mit ihren Sinnen sieben historische Städte in Spanien. Zusammengefasst wurde der Nachmittag mit einer Einladung, Gott – den König der Könige – kennen zu lernen und sein Reich zu entdecken.
my name is Rahel Lanz and I’m currently in Girona with Susanne Beier. I want to improve my Spanish and am also helping her out a bit with her YOUNGSTAR work. I’m a student from Freiburg, Germany and this is my first time in Spain, so I’m excited to learn more about the country, the culture and also excited to be part of the JUROPA pioneering work here. I went to a Youngstars group and a SOLA (Summercamp) and other kids events organized by our church or the bible school my dad worked at when I was little and I loved it! It taught me so much about God and lay the foundation for my faith. I believe its really important to help young people come closer to God and to give them an environment in which they can learn and mature in their relationship with God. That’s why I’m interested in JUROPA and want to know more about this project and want to support it while I’m here. I pray that God will bless this ministry and use it to bless children all over Spain and beyond =)
I’ve been her three weeks now and really like the country and have already learned so much, which I’m real thankful for! The church here has been great too, welcomed me and been patient with my grammar mistakes. It’s been fun getting to know the teens a little and to take part in team meetings, planning for the next youth group. It’s cool to see how the team is devoted to serving God and how they want the best for their youth. I’m only here til the beginning of March, but glad to be a part of what God is doing here for that short time.
“Pfadihaus Lachen war 7./8. Januar Treffpunkt von 26 motivierten JungscharleiterInnen, die mit Juropa etwas erleben wollten. Beim interaktiven Postenlauf vom Bahnhof zur Unterkunft lernten sich die Teilnehmer kennen und bekamen einen ersten Einblick in die Wirkungsfelder Juropas. Am Samstagnachmittag wurde in drei Gruppen weiter gearbeitet: YoungstarsWiki, Coaching und für die “Neulinge” eine Einführung in kulturübergreifendes Arbeiten. Am Samstagabend machte sich die Gruppe im Gebet und Lobpreis gedanklich auf die Reise zu einzelnen Juropamissionaren. So bekamen sie einen tieferen Einblick in die Chancen und Herausforderungen der Juropamitarbeiter im Ausland. Dies wurde am Sonntag durch den Zeugnisbericht von Yvonne und John Macy vertieft, die seit Jahren in Sao Paulo unter Strassenkindern in einem Slum eine Jungschararbeit machen. Am Beispiel Moses zeigte John, wie wir in den Riss stehen: auf der einen Seite vertreten wir die Menschen vor Gott und auf der anderen Gott vor den Menschen. Dass diese Aufgabe das ganze Leben kostet, spürte man bei John und Yvonne sehr gut – und nicht selten wagen sie sogar ihr Leben für die Notleidenden Teenager und Kids. Mit weiteren Informationen über Juropa und Einsatzmöglichkeiten ging das Wochenende nur zu schnell zu Ende. Fröhlich und motiviert ging man auseinander. Einige werden sich schon bald wiedersehen, um ihre Einsätze vorzubereiten. Willst du ebenfalls dabei sein? Du machst den Unterschied!”
Das Jahresziel des YoungstarsWiki – 100 Artikel bis Jahresende – wurde ereicht! Am 27. Dezember 2011 um 23:00 Uhr erreichte uns die Nachricht, dass der 101. Artikel veröffentlicht worden sei.
Guten Grund am Kongress “mission-net” in Erfurt die Becher zu erheben und zu feiern.
Einen grossen Dank geht an die vielen Autoren, welche zu diesem Erfolg des YoungstarsWiki beigetragen haben. Natürlich ist das Projekt damit nicht beendet und wir hoffen dass wir diesen “Schwung” auch ins neue Jahr mitnehmen können.
Wir wünschen allen Lesern und aktiven Schreibern einen guten Rutsch und ein gesegnetes neues Jahr.
Bereits hat die Adventszeit begonnen und ein weiteres Jahr geht dem Ende rasant zu. Gott hat uns einmal mehr treu durch getragen, bewahrt und geholfen. Es ist seine Gnade, Güte und Hilfe, dass wir nach wie vor mutig voran gehen. Es stehen uns neue Türen offen – doch wissen wir ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie wir das auch noch bewältigen sollen. 2012 wird in mancherlei Hinsicht für Juropa zu einem entscheidenden Jahr werden.
Bist du bereit uns zur Seite zu stehen? Uns einmal mehr bei Einsätzen zu unterstützen? Oder neue mit ins Boot zu holen? Oder …?
Fachgruppen
Neu am Staff-WE für die “Oldies” sind die sogenannten Fachgruppen. Was uns enorm helfen würde, wenn wir für verschiedene Aufgabenbereiche eine Fachgruppe einrichten könnten, die sich einer Sache spezifisch annimmt und es umsetzt. Das wird sehr entlasten. Für jeden unserer Kerngebiete wünschten wir uns so ein Team:
Promotion: Juropa und unser Anliegen bekannt machen, multiplizieren und motivieren
Netzwerk/Partnerschaften: verknüpfen helfen, wertvolle Beziehungen aufbauen und pflegen
Training: Kurse entwickeln, optimieren, planen
Coaching: ein Lang betreuen, beraten und wenn nötig Ressourcen vermitteln
YoungstarsWiki: Autoren finden, ev Übersetzer, Artikel schreiben, …
Einsätze
Natürlich werden wir am WE auch schauen, wer wo welchen Einsatz mitmachen kann. Zudem erwarten wir ganz tolle Leute, die für Juropa an der Front stehen und von ihrem Dienst erzählen … nebst viel Gemeinschaft, Gebet und Freude.

This year 18 children followed the trace of White Dear and Silent Bear to find out more about “the treasure”. Have a look at our week full of adventure, fun, Bible stories, singing and Indians.
On 2011.07.02 we conducted in the FEG Uznach the kick-off meeting of YoungstarsWiki. The morning we designed deliberately so that our new volunteers were able to learn as much about our project. After a brief introduction and round of introductions explained us the development team from Austria, the individual functions and the proposed ideas. But in theory we are not stopped, so the staff could test the YoungstarsWiki online and put concrete proposals for change. Many were surprised by the simplicity of the wiki and almost a little stunned, because unfortunately there were almost no critical feedback! So it was not surprising that the subsequent round of prayer was full of gratitude. God has opened various doors, but also closed and which led us so wonderfully.
After lunch, we celebrated with a few guests to the launch of our YoungstarsWiki. Conny gave us a great sweet cake with the inscription “youngstarswiki.org”. Walter delighted us with a short word when he motivated us to trust in God and go forward with him.
The kick-off meeting is thus the history and YoungstarsWiki started. Well, it depends on the cooperation of every individual, whether and how the wiki is growing and is being used. Unfortunately, the number of articles increases only slowly at the time, so we are happy if this advertisement is made. We have created a great promotional sticker that can be ordered from our office. Will also need sponsors and prayer partners who support our project and contribute.
At 2011.09.10, we will conduct an initial staff meeting in Zurich and together reflect the current time.

This summer we had five camps in Bulgaria. The first of them was a family camp in a vacation-resort near Hissar. In the morning we made a program for the children, the most of the time we spent outside and in the forest with different games and the topic was the book “Tangled wood forest secret” by Patricia St. John.
The other four camps were in Kavlak village, 47Km. away from Veliko Turnovo. There were two weeks of camp ground preparation to work on the place. The first preparation week was with a group from Switzerland. The second group was a church from Germany. In these two weeks much work was done, trees we pulled out, the grass we cut, new concrete floors were made in the basement storage room for all the foods, the walls and the doors were painted and much more. It was great to see how the place for the camps was improved and became more beautiful.

Another camp was with children from an orphanage in Veliki Preslav. It was an exhausting week for the leaders, but a blessing to see the change in the children. They met new children, met us and Christ. The children and the young people were thankful that we spent time with them. They were happy that they had something different and interesting to do unlike their usual way of living. After this great week together it was hard to say goodbye.

The last two weeks were training camps for young leaders from Switzerland and Bulgaria. The second week there were many children from all over Bulgaria. That was the practice of the new- trained leaders.
We had a great fellowship in our small group. It was nice to feel the love and the appreciation that we had towards each other from the very beginning. At the last evening one of the girls told us, that in her village she was hated at school and in her family and she was having a hard time. Here in the camp she had found acceptance and true friends. That is one of the reasons why we should carry on organizing more camps like this one and to support the work in Bulgaria.

It was an amazing time in Bulgaria fulfilled with many unforgettable moments-I wouldn’t miss in any way. If I were asked again where Iwant to go for my practise I would choose Bulgaria once more. There were many things I could do and it was very interesting. I saw a lot and met many great people. In addition to the Bulgarian culture, I have learned more about my own culture. I had a lot of experience and learned more about my strong sides and my weaknesses.
Glücklich und dankbar sind wir von Hermanovce in der Slowakei nach Polen zurückgekehrt. Wir hofften, dass ein Funke für Jungschar in den Herzen der neun polnischen Kursteilnehmer angezündet wird – aber es war ein Feuer. Read the rest of this entry »
Wie gut, das unser Glaube nicht an Institutionen, Orte oder Denominationen gebunden ist. GOTTES Liebe verbindet!
In Guadalix de la Sierra (bei Madrid) konnten Susanne Beier und ich, Rahel Volke (Praktikantin bei Youngstars), genau das erleben.
Mitarbeiter aus 3 verschiedenen Madrider Gemeinden schlossen sich zusammen, um gemeinsam an 4 Vormittagen in einem Mini-Camp von GOTTES Liebe weiterzugeben.
Die ganze Woche stand unter dem Leitsatz „Rescarte fantástico“, „unglaubliche Errettung“, ein Thema, von dem zahlreiche biblische Geschichten berichten. Da konnten die Kids mit Johannes dem Täufer auf Wahrheitssuche gehen, mit Mose die giftigen Schlangen besiegen, zusammen mit Paulus und Silas gewaltfrei aus dem Gefängnis ausbrechen und einen verlorenen Sohn wiederfinden.
Die Kinder Im Alter von 3 bis 12 erlebten ein altersgerechtes und bunt gemixtes Programm mit jeder Menge Spaß und Action.
Da die kreativen Köpfe aus Guadalix und Umgebung längerfristig planen, eine Youngstarsgruppe zu starten haben, Susanne und ich ihnen ein wenig unter die Arme gegriffen und YS España vorgestellt.
Wir wünschen ihnen weiterhin ein so großes und mit Liebe gefülltes Herz für die Kinder, eine Leidenschaft für unseren großen GOTT und den besten Segen!
